Through regular interaction and active dialogues with the students - encouraging them to speak about their day / daily activities / interaction with friends, etc. Regular discussions/critiques with older students to improve their performance. With parents, I give regular updates and sometimes work out a study plan with them to help them manage their child's study habits.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I teach at other tuition centres, using their materials and interact with other tutors / MOE-trained tutors. I also have school educators within my family, one of whom specialises in English & Literature. I also visit the MOE / SEAB websites regularly as well as keep in touch with media news.
