I have done peer tutoring. Many of my friends have come to me for explanations regarding Mathematics or Chemistry questions.
I have the patience to explain from scratch and do step by step explanation, wanting to clear any doubts in those who approach me for help. My aim is always to help others to understand the concepts better and know how to apply, not just purely get the answers for the questions.

Good tutors must find out the characteristics and capability of the students under their care. Based on those, the approaches of teaching can vary so that lessons can be the most suitable for the students. Good tutors are also willing to explain the concepts, maybe in different ways, for the students to understand clearly.
