Rapport Building
It is important to firstly listen to the child's needs and identify the areas where he is struggling. Moreover, it is also important as tutors to motivate students every day (this was the case when I was doing my O and A levels as well). I firmly believe that is is also the tutor's responsibility to update parents on the progress of their child and also give feedback.
