I would need a copy of syllabus before lessons and I will revise with students on every single topic that he is taught in school, and then give oral/written assessments to the students.
As a Good Tutor
During my time in NUS, I was selected into Special Programme in Science (SPS), a rigorous programme that prepares selected students into future budding scientists. Through SPS, I collaborated with others on a one-year interdisciplinary project, starting from writing a literature review to final execution of the project. I was able to use the analytical skills honed up during this research exposure to manage a team of SPS juniors in preparing them for their research journey in life sciences. Together with the extensive research experience in both my current work and SPS, such exposure definitely prepares me well for my intention to work as a full time tutor.
