I participated in a semester-long (10 weeks) tutoring/teaching programme with Beyond Childcare Centres. Gained experienced in teaching lower primary children in various subjects- English, Mathematics and Science. Children grew attached to me and looked forward to sessions. Children's reading skills and homework improved after several sessions.
Have tutored cousins of my own who are currently attending lower primary.
I am great with children and am able to interact and communicate with them well. I believe that every child is capable of achieving to the best of their abilities.
Having adopted key teaching methods from my own tuition experience, I am able to help students understand concepts better and at a reasonable pace, suited for every child.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start as soon as possible. Also, I am able to commit to August, should I study abroad. I would be able to continue as long as possible, should I attend university in Singapore.
Being part of the Victoria Integrated Programme, I am exempted from sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examinations and preceded to sit for the GCE Advanced Level Examination at the end of 2009. I am currently waiting to receive my GCE A level results.
