I have taught a Pri 3 girl for a year when I was volunteering with PCNL. Her grades improved. I am open to giving parents' feedback about their child's weaknesses and strengths. I do not have much experience in teaching but I can be very patient and emphasise teaching what your child is weak at.

I am able to start teaching as soon as possible (asap). I am able to commit to an assignment for more than a year. I am a pre-U student awaiting for results release. I have much experience communicating with children and am able to guide them well.

With younger students, I will include a few schemes to earn points and credits in exchange for little gifts to encourage them to work harder and have fun while they learn. Most importantly, there will be a need to make them feel interested in the subject before they can do well in it.
With older students, they can treat me as a friend and talk to me about anything under the sun :)
With parents, I will update them about the progress of teaching every month and keep them updated about their child's enthusiasm during lessons. I will also inform the parents about their child's weaknesses or when they fail to complete the work given to them so that parents are able to work with me to help the child gain progress in their studies.
