Tuition/Teaching Experience
I currently have not much experience in commercial tutoring but I have my fare share of peer to peer teaching as well as helping my sister out with school work. I believe that the concept of teaching would always be the same; to explain in a way that students can understand and remember.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start immediately and will be able to commit long term up till 1year. I will be available on weekends as well as on the evening of weekdays.
Rapport Building
I would normally ask the parents a brief description of the child's academic history as well as the studying habits of the student. My interaction with students would be casual and friendly but maintaining the firmness required for students to listen and not fool around in class.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I would find out about the child's overall syllabus for that particular subject for that year itself. Look at past year questions or ten year series and look at the MOE website for updates to the current curriculum if there is any changes.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor should be able to draw the attention of students with ease. Able to put themselves in the shoes of their students and explain difficult concepts in a way that students can understand. Other than academics wise, I strongly believe that tutors should be able to talk to students beyond the current curriculum with ease, to impart not just textbook knowledge to them, but also general knowledge or knowledge out of the syllabus to pique the student's interest in that particular field of studies.
