To be a good teacher, I believe one must have the necessary command over the subject matter which he or she teaches. This allows him or her to comfortable to convey and explain the subject to the students. Although knowledge and skills are crucial, a teacher who is enthusiastic, compassionate and patient will create a positive and comfortable learning environment for the students. Equipped with the necessary skill and knowledge, coupled with the characteristics that I mentioned above and all the experiences from numerous primary and secondary tutees from past few years, I believe I will be a good teacher.
