I've experiences in tuition for about 2 years during my studies in Temasek Polytechnic. I believe that each and every single child has their own gifts and talents and what we can do is to help them to discover and do well in their studies at the same time. While certain subjects there can be weaker in, we can do our best to help them discover the fun part of the subjects so they can develop some interests and start to see things in a different light.

I am able to start immediately, able to commit up to a year and more.
Location would be preferably in the East, Bedok/Tanah Merah area.
Rapport Building
I will communicate with the parents to see what are their expectations from me, from their child and the results.
After a few sessions, i will probably speak to the parents about the expectations and see whether it is feasible. Though i will commit and do my best to help the child achieve the results and develop interest in the subject, it is ultimately up to the child to see how well he or she can perform.
For the child, i will ask about his interests in studies. Why is the subject interesting and why is it not. This is to see how i can go into the picture and help the child to understand the subject and overcome his fear or disinterest in it.
i believe the way to solve the problem is not just looking at the surface, but digging deeper to the core issue so the problem can be solved permanently.
