I have great patience in teaching & I always try my best. I strongly believe that no matter how fast or slow the student's learning ability is, as long as they are willing to learn, they can do well.
I'm able to commit ASAP and will take this part time tutoring on a permanent basis.
Rapport Building
I speak to students' parents regarding their child's progress in school and will learn more about their studying method and style. It allows me to better understand how each student learns and what do parents expect. In this way, I get to understand the parents' worries regarding their child's progress in school and I will come up with interesting and engaging studying methods so that students do not easily give up. I will also reward students will small little treats when they do well. :)
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have family and friends who still have kids in school whom I can seek for more information regarding school's syllabus and curriculum and I've went to several bookstores to look at the different textbooks & assessments books and have picked up a few which I think will be essential for a student's learning.
As a Good Tutor
Patience is one of the utmost qualities that a tutor should have. I understand how difficult sometimes learning can be and its important for a tutor to have enough empathy and patience for teaching. Next, communication with students and their parents is also important as this helps to truly understand what are the needs of each students and their parents. Lastly, commitment and passion in teaching plays a crucial part of being a tutor because we play an important role for students and they at us for solutions whenever they have challenges they can't overcome.
