Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: Will definitely see students till the day of the A level exam.

Usually give tutees extra time if needed.
Notes, slides, essays sample from different jc students, drq practices, will all be provided.

Rapport Building: I'll first understand what problems the students face in the subject and also give them study plans, advice and help them pace themselves accordingly for their exams.

For geography, i'll answer them by whatsapp (take photo of solutions and explanations if needed)

I offer them not just help in geography but also for their whole A levels journey.
I have also gave students advice on university courses, help prepared them for interviews and also vet their statement of purpose.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: As a current JC tutor

I have updated notes and questions, I have also personally attempted most JCs prelim questions myself as there are no answers for geography and usually will guide my students through ample practices.

I also show them what other students are doing.

As a Good Tutor: I have taught students from over 10 different JCs for H1/H2 geography and have helped most of them achieve quality grades A or B in the A levels.

Most of the problems have to be traced back and dealt with, even from the most fundamentals like how to write a sentence or paragraph may be what the students need. We can revisit those steps first before we build up for the A levels.
