Commitment / Other Details
Able to start immediately and travel to student's location, up till next year. Available timeslots are weekdays 3 to 5 pm and weekends 9 am to 1 pm.
Rapport Building
Willing to find out more about students' situations and their goals and objectives, along with the parents' objectives as well. Will work with students to set small and achievable targets for their exams to help their progress in their education. This will also foster greater confidence and belief in the student, not only with regard to his academics, but also other aspects of life, for a more well-rounded youth.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Have kept up on the curriculum through previous tutoring, and also checking of the curriculum released by MOE each year.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor should be able to understand the student's grasp of the fundamental concepts that he or she would require, and identify the key areas where the student needs further guidance and tutoring. The tutor can then focus on the areas where the student needs help and polish on those areas where the student is already proficient.
