Rapport Building
I will constantly update the parents on the progress and understand the student's weak areas before formulate any lesson plan. I will try to establish personal connections with the student and build a free and easy environment to encourage to speak up and be more willing to share their thinking process. Through this way, I would be able to better understand how well the student knows the topic and clarify any misconceptions in a prompt manner.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will constantly read up on the syllabus and keep myself updated with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
I am patient and detailed in explaining concepts. I adopted a systematic manner in of teaching (clarify conceptual misunderstanding, walkthrough of sample questions, cover exam tips and answering techniques). I helped the student to build up confident in sitting for exam and trained them to have better time management in exam. Together with the hard work input by the student, all my students shown great improvement after tuition.
