I have 2 years of teaching experience.
Have taught 3 H2 Chem students, one of them has been taught since she was in J1.
I always make sure they have good foundation and provide clear concept that is easy to understand and take in before we move on into drilling/ intensive practice.
I have also taught 3 O-level students. One E-math boy who just finished his O levels, and 2 girls who have finished theirs last year. both girls get good results in subject that I have taught. 1 girl whom I taught bio/chem and e-math got A1 for both subject. another got A1 for pure bio and B3 for pure chem.
Upper secondary level - Bio/Chem Biology Chemistry Chinese E Maths Geography Social Studies
Junior college level - Biology Chemistry

I will usually communicate with student in a more relax manner and allow them to change timetable to suit their schedule if ever possible.
also I will allow them to ask me question via whatsapp during non-lesson time and answer it asap.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have been teaching similar subject every year so other than checking materials and syllabus online I will also learn it from my past student himself/herself as well as from my network.
As a Good Tutor
As a good tutor one should be patient, know what are the key things needed in syllabus and constantly highlight it to student. It is also important for the teacher not just constantly drill the student with questions, but also must make sure that the foundation is there.
