Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have 1 year of experience tutoring students in secondary school in Mathematics and in Physics. I enjoy Physics and am able to draw real-life examples from the curriculum to help the student understand difficult concepts. This allows students to build an innate understanding of the sciences and subsequently, perform well for their examinations.
1 week notice is required. Able to commit at least once a week per student.
Rapport Building
I have volunteered and worked with able-bodied as well as special needs children for more than 5 years. I speak to their parents on a frequent basis and try to act as a role model for the student.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have studied Physics at an advanced level and fully understand the basic concepts. This strong foundation allows me to quickly grasp old material. I study my physics textbooks as well as that of the student to keep up-to-date with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
I feel a good tutor is one that tries to understand the student and work on the student's strengths. My goal is to help the student fundamentally understand these concepts and be able to apply this to doing well in the examinations. I have worked with many different types of children and i cater the studying style accordingly.
