Tuition/Teaching Experience
When i was in secondary school, i took part in peer tutoring for maths and science every year as i want to help the others who are weak in the subject. Furthermore, i continue my dedication and teach some of my polytechnic mates who are weak in maths as i took Chemical engineering course which consist of chemistry and maths.
i love to teach people as i love to help the others and also share my knowledge with them so that they can excel together and become successful. My tolerance towards teaching is quite high as i am a very patient guy and can teach them step by step. Lastly, i want to become a tutor as i think i have the time to teach and tutor kids who really in need of help and achieve better results in their academic subjects.
Rapport Building
I am very cheerful, enthusiast kind of person. With this, i like to produce a very enjoyable learning experience with my tutees so that they are not pressure and afraid of me when i teach them. Eventhough, they are slow kids, i will give my very best to help them and improve their academic results with the amount of knowledge that i had received these years.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am always aware of my curriculum as i am able to manage my time accordingly. In addition, i am a kind of person where i keep myself thinking of the things that is happening in my life so i would not forget easily. This will not let me sidetrack and tend to be lazy and ignore my tutees needs, however i will try to figure out a way to make him understand the particular subject
As a Good Tutor
In my opinion, good tutors is who he/she able to help the students from zero to a hero. Eventhough the student did not get an A or B in the final exam, the important value that i want to emphasize is there is improvement. This will keep the student motivated and would like to do better as he feel the sense of achievement and this will boost his confidence and morale. As a good tutor, we have to be ultimately patience and keep on giving positives vibes such as encouraging the student although he/she fail her subjects. By giving encouragement, they will tend to have self- belief, motivated.Hence, they want to excel.
