Rapport Building
I always will want my students to be comfortable around me, and not think of me as some stern teacher who is here to simply do her job. I believe it is important to be encouraging and also let my students and their parents feel as if i'm a dedicated tutor who have a passion for teaching.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Besides my studies in polytechnic, I have been teaching my juniors in secondary school. As I'm currently very focused on Biology and Chemistry for my education, these subjects are what I usually keep up to date with the curriculum. However, I am also very keen on teaching English and Literature.
As a Good Tutor
I like to incorporate fun into my teaching, so that students will find it enjoyable, and have them be genuinely interested in the subject. I do not want my students to find studying as a chore. I want to be someone that's set apart from the rest, by not being too structured and giving some space for my students to do free learning and explore for themselves; of course there will be some guidance, but I do not want them to conform to the normal standards of teaching where answers have to be so textbook-like.
