Hi! I've just finished my 'A' levels. Although I may not have any proper teaching experience before, when I was schooling I helped out at STep where we tutor Primary 4-6 students English and Mathematics once a week. Additionally, I went back to my primary school (Marymount Convent School), to help the Primary 6 students with their studies as part of community service. At home, time to time, I will teach my sister (currently sec 4) when she needs help with her work.
I was once a weak student, and hence will be able to understand the struggles a weak student faces and how to overcome these obstacles in order to get the desired results. I will also share my own studying experience with my students and motivate them to believe in themselves.

Commitment / Other Details
I will be able to start tutoring after 17th January and can commit till the end of the year. As I have just finished my 'A' levels, I'm relatively free till I start school in August and will confirm the schedule again then (:
Personally, I believe the basis of achieving good results is to get the basics right. Especially for science and mathematics, I will clarify any doubts the student has and teach proper answering techniques. More importantly, I will try my best to help my student to understand every topic fully.
For music, I finished my ABRSM Grade 8 Piano in 2011 and am willing to teach piano from grades 1-5 (:
Rapport Building
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I still keep my secondary school notes and textbooks but I will constantly check on the current curriculum to keep myself updated on any new syllabus or topics for the various subjects that I will be teaching.
As a Good Tutor
As a good tutor, I believe the tutor must be able to clarify any doubts the student has. Personally, I would prefer having the student to ask questions but during lessons, but at the same time I will also assist him/her with their schoolwork and go through certain concepts or methods to ensure that they understand the topic and subject better.
