Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have taught 7 students over the past 2 years. Under my guidance, all 7 students have improved by at least 3 grades in both E Math and A Math. Of the 7, 6 sat for their O Levels this year. The 7th student is my sister, who achieved A2 for E Math and A1 for A Math in the O Levels in 2013.

As a tutor, I wholly commit to answering any and all questions during and after tuition. Students will have my mobile number and are free to contact me at any time regarding any questions they may have - even questions pertaining to other subjects.

Commitment / Other Details
I am ready to start immediately, am willing to travel for tuition, and can commit for the entirety of 2016 up till the student's final year exams. I am also keen on making my tuition dates and timings flexible so that the students will not be inconvenienced.
Rapport Building
As a tutor, I firmly believe that I should constantly update parents on their child's progress. As such, I voluntarily update parents on their child's progress every month - this progress may be in the form of a text message or a face to face conversation.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I keep myself updated with the syllabus and curriculum by doing all the Ten Year Series papers and other school's prelim papers, in order to stay relevant with the common types of questions and methodologies of doing questions. I commit myself to exposing my students to new questions and new methods to solve problems.
As a Good Tutor
As a tutor, I believe the key is helping students understand what they are studying. It comes from an approach that greatly helped me study many years ago, when I realized that many students simply memorise regurgitate what they have memorized in exams. In my opinion, that's not the way to go. Understanding concepts will help students solve any and all questions thrown at them - memorizing will not. As such I commit myself fully to helping students understand concepts, and then test them using a variety of questions to make sure they understand the concepts full well.

A good tutor, in my view, should also make him/herself available at all times to answer student's questions, even questions on other subjects, and that is what I can promise to deliver.
