Commitment / Other Details
I have a day job as an analyst and am used to breaking down concepts so as to get messages across to others. I believe this will help me when I am tutoring students who need help with certain subjects
Rapport Building
Coming from a rather large family, I have a great relationship with the children in my extended family. This is attributed from my friendly persona. I believe that all students who require help with studies just need some patience and time to understand concepts. Thus, I will take time to understand the study habits and weak points a student has. I will also inform the students parents on what I have observed so that they can keep a look out for ways to help the student out day to day. Having once been a student that did not aspire to study, I will know how to reach out to other students who may be facing the same problem by quoting my journey to improving my results.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will read up on the relevant syllabus as well as questions in trend.
Look at test papers given by schools for potential trends so as to excel in upcoming exams.
As a Good Tutor
To be patient, accepting and understanding.
When i was in school, I had a closer relationship to my tuition teachers than my teachers in school due to the 1 to 1 contact and being able to practice subjects in a more comfortable environment. Thus, i wish to provide the same support for children who need help in school.
