Track record for 'O' Level English: 40+ students from 2012-2014. 30% of my students (previously B to D graders) scored A1 and A2, 60% (previously C to F graders) scored B3 and B4.
I can start anytime and I make it a point to see the student all the way through the national exams.
Rapport Building
The teacher must be witty and charismatic in order to retain attention for a fruitful lesson. To this effect, I carry out one trial session for the student to ascertain whether my lesson is riveting and useful. Should the student reflect an unfavorable opinion of my tutelage, the trial session will be free of charge and the parent has no obligations to engage my services from then on.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have developed an extremely acute understanding of the exam syllabus as a result of extensive study and practice. To understand my students, and to keep myself abreast of the latest exam trends, I sit for the 'O' level English paper (syllabus 1128) as a private candidate on a bi-yearly basis.
As a Good Tutor
Poor tutors rely solely on assessment books. My students use the worksheets that I have painstakingly written over many years (my worksheets are in line with the latest MOE syllabus and stretch students beyond their limit). Parents may request to scrutinize the originality and effectiveness of my materials.
