I had one year experience teaching a secondary 2 student. After giving math tuition to this particular student, he managed to improve from a c6 during his mid terms to a B3 during his end of year exams.
I had quite a bit of instructional experience, though not all of it pertains to academics. I was a conductor in two seperate choirs for 6 years. My experience as a coach has taught me that not only do people have different rates of learning but also respond differently to different methology.
I do believe that math is a subject that is enjoyable only if a student is able to grasp the foundations of the various concepts. I was involved in peer tutoring during my schooling days and i understand that maths is a subject that is easy to succeed at with proper guidance.
