Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been teaching Secondary 2 Science (focusing on Chemistry) for about half a year. My tutee has improved from a grade of 60% to more than 80% for her SA2 examinations.
I am available immediately and will be able to commit for a tuition assignment for at least a year.
Rapport Building
As a volunteer in a non-profit organisation to read English storybooks to children, I have experience handling, reading and playing with children aged 4 to 11 years old. I also tutor lower and upper secondary school students. During lessons, I try to engage my students both academically as well as non-academic aspects. For instance, trying to understand the students day in school, or perhaps their hobbies, their likes and dislikes. I also give parents feedback about their child's progress as and when necessary.
