I would consult different teaching materials and content from external sources, as well as keeping up with the latest MOE requirements for the level I'm tutoring.
As a Good Tutor
I tend to sit down with parents and child separately to find out more about their expectations and the child before starting the first lesson. This would help in creating a more effective plan to improving the child's grades. I also update parents regularly on the child's progress.
