Commitment / Other Details
Currently i am doing my Final Year Project in NUS, therefore i can commit to once per week on the weekends, up to as long as possible
Rapport Building
To me rapport building differs with the students that i encounter. I do not have a particular method of establishing connections but it improves as i get to know the student more. My general approach is to identify the student's preferred study style and knowledge gaps instead of just spoon-feeding. I believe in active learning.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I normally look out for updates to the curriculum by referring to the MOE syllabus guidelines. The best is to follow guidelines from the school.
As a Good Tutor
As mentioned above, i believe that education is about invoking active learning and thinking skills, rather than spoon-feeding.
