I Incorporate personal stories and experiences within my lessons as It humanizes me as a teacher and makes my lessons more interesting. Also, when a student is sick or misses school, I personally call or text the student or their parents to check on them and see how they are doing.

As a Good Tutor
I believe that to be a great tutor, you need to possess a certain amount of traits in you. First, you need to have excellent communication skills (which I have, also from attending advanced English courses in a British Centre), superior listening skills (be attentive to your students and their needs, show them that you care), deep knowledge and passion for the subject that you are tutoring, to be able to develop a strong relationship with my students at a certain level, to be friendly and approachable so my students will not be intimidated by me or feel out of place. I also believe that you need to possess strong organizational and preparation skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to build a community.
All these are very important factors in order to be a good tutor and me myself, I am a very motivated and determined individual who is willing to give the best of her capabilities to her students and make their learning journey a fun and a great one!
