I have worked in a tuition centre for over a year and taught for 5 years, so i believe i have seen enough students and tutor to see which way of tutoring works the best.
I have been taught and taught these past few years.
One thing I learnt is that, to improve on the subject you are studying, first, you have to understand the basic fundamental of the subject.
That is why, I teach students by helping them understand the fundamental of the subject so they will be able to understand the subject better and faster.
I do that by showing that i care for the childrens.
Letting them know that studying is not all bad.
Yes, studying may not be as fun as running around with friends, but it can still be fun.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I keep myself updated through the internet from the MOE's website from time to time.
As a Good Tutor
I believe in work for rewards and rewards for work.
If they did well for their test or exams, I will reward them.
This way, the students will work harder and look forward to it.
I think respect is the most important thing.
I will still give advices if possible,
but I will respect the parents and students decision.
Also, I believe that a stressful environment is not good for a student's mental and physical health.
That is why, i will take extra care with students and make sure they won't be stressed out.
