I have 1 year of tutoring experience, and I am patient in my teaching, ensuring that the student understands and not just memorise the concepts so that the student can reapply the knowledge learnt appropriately onto the myriad of questions during exams.

As I am awaiting for my Alevels results, I will be able to start right away and I will be able to commit till the end of the year.
Rapport Building
I will be talking/messaging with the parents to keep them informed about what is done in class and what should be done before the next lesson on the student's part, as well as informing them about the student's performance and learning attitude.
For students, they will have my HP number which they can send me questions that they need clarification on so they do not have to wait until the next lesson if they require the help ASAP
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will keep in contact with both the parents and students to inform them about my schedule and to also be informed about the student's availability. I am also responsible, so I will generally keep to timings that I know I will be able to make it, so that students will not be confused and this will prevent the hindering of their learning.
As a Good Tutor
To be a good tutor, I feel that it is important for me to cater to the learning style of the student.
This is through teaching the student with what they enjoy ie area of interests and allow them to see the link between what they like and what they have to learn. I will also ensure that students can understand and not just purely memorise the concepts to ensure that the things they learnt can remain in their brain for a longer period of time, so as to facilitate easier studying process during exam periods.
