Tuition/Teaching Experience
I don't have much experience in giving tuition, but what I can tell you is that I managed to go from a PSLE score of 184 thereby landing me in the Normal Academic stream, to gaining entry into Anglo Chinese Junior College where I did well enough to get me into the local university NUS to study Economics. I know how to teach a student to think more for themselves, and to ask questions, rather than to simply force information down his or her throats. I never believed in rote learning, and I believe I can teach your child to do well without believing so too.

Commitment / Other Details
I am entering university in 1 month's time, and I need to find a way to be able to pay for my day to day expenses. Therefore, giving tuition seems to be the best way forward. I am 100% committed to meeting your child during any months and at any time. I had tutors who were very flexible with me too, and I now understand the importance of that.
Rapport Building
Anyone I know will be able to tell you that I am extremely friendly and easy to get along with. I always see the good in people, and hope they see it in me too. I don't think I can put into words exactly how I make others feel at ease with me. It's just natural.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
The curriculum is always changing, and what I studied in school before may not be so applicable anymore. However, the though process still applies, and I believe if I can teach your child that thought process, any curriculum presented before us will be no problem. You can see for yourself the grades I've obtained in the different subjects. They will allow you to gauge whether I am competent enough to teach a particular subject or not. I believe my strengths lie in Primary/Secondary English, Maths, Accounts and if you can see the talent in me, I'd also love to teach JC Economics at both H1 and H2 Levels.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor must be easy to understand, in other words, his command of the language is key. He may have all the knowledge in the world, but the ability to effectively communicate it to someone else is not so common. I don't believe in over complicating a topic at hand. I believe it is all very easy if you sit back, relax and more importantly, think.

A good tutor must also motivate his student to study hard, and be a good role model for the student to look up to. I like to believe many students would be happy to be in my place some day - where I can get the course of my choosing in a renowned university like NUS.
