Rapport Building
I talk to the parents and ask them what their concerns are for the children's education. I will ask them for their expectations from the tutoring sessions. I would ask them if they already have assessment books they would like to use. I would find out from the child how they are, what his favourite subject is and which is his least favourite. I would try to find out wha his interests are to better relate topics to his interest.
