As a Good Tutor
As a student who used to receive numerous tuition lessons in my academic life, I think it's essential in having a tutor who carefully experiments with different ways in explaining concepts to their students. A student who isn't performing well in school may not necessarily be due to their inadequacy at a subject but could be the way in delivering a concept to them. A simple example of using a student's allowance to understand math can go a long way in establishing a good foundation for the student.
