Tuition/Teaching Experience
I was in the Gifted Education Programme and have 2 years' experience as a tutor. Previously, I have tutored Primary 6 Maths as well as various O Level Maths/Science subjects. Among them, my best achievements have been improving a Sec 3 TKGS Chemistry and Physics grades from a B4 and B3 respectively to A1s at O Levels. Also, I helped the abovementioned Pri 6 Student from Kong Hwa to improve his grades in Maths from an average of 30+ to 67 at Prelims and B at PSLE. I am currently tutoring Sec 4 A Maths.
Through experience, I found that tuition only works if both the tutor and student are motivated. As such, I do my best to help students realise a purpose in school and instill in them a drive to succeed.
