Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been teaching tuition part time for the last 3 years and have coached many secondary school students with their math and science subjects. The students include O level students as well as both express and normal stream students
Upper secondary level - A Maths Bio/Chem Chemistry E Maths Physics Physics/Bio Physics/Chem
Commitment / Other Details
I will be able to start immediately and would prefer if the tuition time slots are in the evenings of weekdays except Thursday. Sunday will also be an available day for me.
Rapport Building
I try to understand their weak point and what they do not understand. Not everything that is taught to the student may be related to the portion they don't understand. I would try different methods to teach something if they are unable to grasp the concept. This may include simple games or questions to release tension and to make the student aware of their own abilities.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I keep myself updated by going to the bookstores to check what is new in the textbooks that are being sold for the different levels.
As a Good Tutor
They must be willing to listen as much as teach. Sometimes the root issue may be something else totally unrelated.
