Commitment / Other Details: Other than school, i am committing my other time to teaching.

Rapport Building: Finding a common ground and common language. I can express myself clearly to the child on my pedagogy and strategies to bring him/her towards the eventual goal. At the same time, I always keep parents involved and informed about the progress of their kids in a timely fashion.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: Being in the education sector for quite some time now, I am relatively well connected with peers who are able to provide me with up to date resources.

As a Good Tutor: - Assistant Teacher at a reputable tuition centre (taught classes of up to 45 students; all from varied backgrounds)
- Taught 1-to-1 tuition (students experienced significant improvements in grades; in under one year, a student of mine who consistently scored F9 before I started teaching him, achieved A2 at his National Exam)
- MOE Teaching Intern (familiar with the inner workings of the school system; taught top sec 3 classes)
- Received training at Academy of Singapore Teachers ( I was trained on pedagogy by a former MOE cluster superintendent)
