Commitment / Other Details
Rapport Building
Usually, I will 'reward" my students with food after end of classes to "reward" them for their fullest attention during tuition. This also acts as a form of motivation! I will interact with students more often by asking them before classes on what difficulties are they facing in the subject and I will tailor my teaching method from there.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I do read up on the current syllabus and my personal notes to keep up with the curriculum as I understand that curriculum changes often and keeping updated is very crucial.
As a Good Tutor
The basic qualities are being patient. As a tutor, it is important to understand that patience is a virtue and patience helps students to learn better and in a more stress-free environment. I believe a tutor can also be a student's friend as well and interactions with students are very important in order to build rapport and truly understand how to help your students better.
