I have 8 years of experience in tutoring. I conduct lessons for secondary school students in pure or combined Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) and Mathematics (A Maths and E Maths) for up to 8 hours a week. I supervised students under my care, and guide them to achieve improvement in their grades by as much as 4 alphabet grades. I was a scholar myself and I am preparing to enter Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School this year. Coming from a neighborhood background, I believe, with passion and determination, anyone can take the first step in reaching his/her goals. In order to create a passion for a subject, a tutor must be able to keep lessons intellectual-stimulating and interesting to the student.
I believe in teaching students with care and understanding. I concern myself with their plans for the future, not only the subjects I am handling. This will help them in planning for their future.
