Rapport Building
I believe that the only way to building a quality relationship is through frequent interaction with both students and parents. As such, it is my responsibility to constantly ensure that I communicate on an equal evel as my student, and to consistently update my student's parents on their child's progress.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will keep myself updated with the curiculum by reading up thoroughly on the syllabus as published on the Singapore Examinations and Assessments Board. I will also get a sense of what schools are currently teaching their students, by studying currently available assessment and supplementary books.
As a Good Tutor
I believe a good tutor is patient, and someone who understands the importance of empathy. I believe that a good tutor should empower his or her students, and is responsible of not just the academic well-being of his or her students, but also emotional and mental well-being.
