I was a private tutor of a Normal Tech Sec 3 student last year (July 2011) but stopped in February 2012 as I went to Germany for my exchange program. After coming back after 5 months, I joined my school ECA as a secondary school mentor. From September until October, we went to JuYing secondary school every Saturday to help those students in their O' Level examination.
I think the methods used for teaching is very important. The method must be interesting and attractive. I will use different method to catch student's attention and normally I will guide the students and let them to discover themselves so that they can really understand the concept and remember it then apply it appropriately.
