Tutoring experience of about 2 years. Tutored a Sec 3 boy Math (B3 to A1) and Combined Science (B to A); and tutored a few Pri 3-5 students as volunteer work (B/C to A). I make notes for students too.

Able to start ASAP and currently have two students. Available on weekdays evening, and weekends morning-evening (preferably weekends morning).
Rapport Building
I ask my students to prepare a notebook where I will write down the weekly assignments for the student and also keep track of the student's progress (timetable to pace the student well to learn the entire syllabus and have sufficient time for content clarification and revision). After every lesson/ every two lessons, I would update the parent on the students' progress and give advice on how they could further aid their child in learning.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I print other schools' test papers for my students to practice because I believe that practice makes perfect and practising a wide variety of question types will allow my students to familiarise themselves with the non-routine questions and hone their flexible problem-solving skills. Apart from that, I also make personalised notes for my students to learn better, especially for the topics that they are most unclear in.
As a Good Tutor
I believe that rewards can motivate a student to learn better so I frequently give my students some small snacks. I am a patient tutor, and I believe in creating a conducive learning environment, so I try my best to be encouraging and motivating. While results are important, I am also concerned with the student's overall well-being so I make sure that the student has adequate rest while working hard for his/her examinations.
