I have experience in tutoring for 5 years. I have taught male and female students of primary and secondary levels. I had taught students who made a remarkable improvement in their grades over the years. My forte is in Mathematics and Accounting. I have managed to improved students' grades within a year and six months. In fact,even one week before a student's exam, I was able to render vital information to a keen student. I take tutoring very seriously as the students' futures are at stake. Not only do I impart educational knowledge, but I also do share exam tips and guide them in the art of studying such as mind-mapping. I also place importance of motivating and bonding with children as they are the very root of a pleasant tutoring experience.

Commitment / Other Details
I am available to teach from Thursday to Sunday after 3pm. I am able to commit till end of 2015. I am flexible in tutoring and able to make rescheduled sessions on other days at the students' requests.
Rapport Building
I build rapport with students by asking their daily activities and also knowing more about their well being. I like to crack jokes so that to loosen up students. However I will be serious when its the time for studying and tutoring. Weekly I will update parents on the child's progress. I update parents pertaining homework given by me and also whether the child completes them. I will also remind parents to encourage their children to complete homework and to study hard.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am updated with the educational syllabus and curriculum as I have been teaching students for 5 years. I take the initiative to plan ahead on my tutoring program so as to ensure students have a smooth educational journey with me. I do find for students latest tests and exam papers so that they can practice.
As a Good Tutor
Tutors should be well-equipped with the educational knowledge that he or she intends to impart to students. Tutors should have good behavior and character so as to be perceived as a good role model for students to follow. Tutors should also place importance on motivating and bonding with students.
