I have tutored a neighbour in primary school level. In addition, I have been constantly tutoring my younger brother too. I enjoy tutoring because it gives me a sense of satisfaction when I can help students with their understanding and build up their problem solving skills. I am patient when explaining concepts, and find ways to make it easier for students to understand concepts. I am currently pursuing a Psychology degree in NTU, and I am working with people from MINDS with special needs for my CCA. T

Commitment / Other Details
I would prefer one to one tuition, because through that I can tailor my explanations to suit the needs of the student. I will be able to work for longer hours during the holidays (May-August), but less hours during non-holiday period.

As a Good Tutor
To me, a tutor should be able to help a student clear their doubts and learn what they have missed out in school. On top of that, a good tutor need to be able to stand in the shoes of the student, and take the point of view of them to help them excel better academically. A good tutor must also be patient with the students, and find ways to help the student better understand concepts.
