Tuition/Teaching Experience
I had one year of official teaching experience, which I had taught a Secondary 3 student with her Math. After teaching her for the first month, she improved vastly as she started to understand the concepts that she previously cannot understand.
While in secondary school, I often returned to my primary school to teach Primary 5 and 6 students who were faring poorly in their Math and helped them out in their schoolwork. The students very often returned with great improvements and jumps in their grades. In Junior College, I participated in the Straits Time Step-up programme in which I volunteered to teach and supervise the lower income Primary 6 students in their schoolwork. This helped them greatly in their preparation for PSLE.
