I have had 1 full year of contract teaching in Yew Tee Primary School prior to my admission into NIE. I have had the experience of teaching p1-p6 students for Chinese Language and most have had significant improvement in their grades and shown more interest in the subject. I have had 5 weeks of teaching assistantship in Chua Chu Kang Primary School too.
I'm in my final year at NIE and i will be posted to a primary school in June 2009 to serve my bond with MOE.
For private tuition, i have had close to 4 years of experience, with 18 students to date and 2 students currently. My students range from p1 - sec 2, and almost all of them shown good improvement in their grades.
