Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have never had experience working as a tutor but I hope to be given the trust and opportunity to showcase my passion in teaching. I may be lacking in a few areas but through time and hard work, I believe that they will be polished.

I'm very confident in having the patience and willingness to provide for my students! I won't give up when things can hard and I'll push myself beyond limits to perform in the best condition possible! I'll also make sure my students are treated fairly and given tasks that will challenge them to become better!

I'm also a student designer, so creative thinking is very critical in my point of view when teaching my students! I'll incorporate interesting and new ways to conduct a lesson!

Commitment / Other Details
I'm able to start immediately!

I am currently working a part-time barista job but my timing is very flexible and I'm able to commit for a long time!

I'll be entering University in October but even then, I'll still be able to go for classes during the weekends or weekday nights! :)
Rapport Building
I've never had tutoring experiences but during my part-time barista job, I handle several regular customers and I tend to remember their personalities and initiate conversations to create a stronger bond! I also like to notice their favourite drinks or foods and give them my opinion on what would be better for them that day!

My point here is that as a tutor, I will look out for what my student needs the most and also take note of their personality and interests so as to be able to keep lessons less boring and more interesting for my students! I would also like to be someone they can communicate with and relate to not just as a tutor, but as a friend! :)
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have a younger sister who is currently in Secondary 5 at Pasir Ris Secondary. She sometimes comes to me for help with her e-maths homework. I look at the ten-year series and notice the differences in syllabus every year.
As a Good Tutor
As a good tutor, I will put my student's needs and interests first. I'll listen to what they have to say and provide the best advice I can, not just in their education, but also in their everyday lives. Their happiness is the most important thing to me and I would like to be someone who gives them encouragement and motivation to persevere and do their best. Even if they're not at the top 5 or top 10, I want to always remind them that success is not a destination, but a journey they have to go through their whole life.
