Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been teaching tuition part time for 4 years now. I have taught sec sch E and A Maths and am currently teaching p6 Maths. I am teaching in early enrichment centre so I can teach preschool children also. I ensure all my students do their homework and I always encourage them to ask as many questions possible. I believe in creating a strong foundation and basics thus I will do many exercises until the student is familiar with the basics.
Primary level - English Higher Maths Malay Mathematics
Lower secondary level - Mathematics
Upper secondary level - A Maths E Maths
Music - Piano - Theory (Beginner), Practical (Beginner, Intermediate)
Commitment / Other Details
I can start anytime, I can do Tues and Thurs evenings from 4pm onwards.
Rapport Building
From time to time I will update parents on the child's progress.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will look through workbooks in bookstore or search online to make sure I'm updated with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
Monitor progress of the child, work to improve their weaknesses, clear their doubts, occasionally challenge the students' abilities and constantly motivate and encourage them to do their best.
