Rapport Building
With stronger students, I seek to infuse the ideas of socratic questioning, oppositional-thinking and perspective-taking to challenge my students and keep them interested.
With weaker students, I tend to focus more on writing drills, and break down the process of structuring arguments and arranging flow of points with strict formulas that can be followed and applied. Breaking down process makes the steps easier to follow, and ensures that students do not give up.
