Tuition/Teaching Experience: I am an ex-MOE certified school teacher with 11 years of teaching experiences in Primary and Secondary schools. Was previously teaching in CHIJ ST Nicholas, specialising in English. My lessons are conducted in an engaging manner where students are highly encourage to ask questions. I am patient and committed and will see all my students through their course of studies to ensure that they understand well.

Most importantly, I am very exam orientated and focus on ensuring students improve at least 1.5 grades for their graduating examinations.

Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: I am very committed and make sure that I do not miss lessons unnecessarily. Make up lessons will be arranged should there be instances where lessons are cancelled.

Own teaching resources for Paper 1, 2, 3 will be provided

Rapport Building: I believe in spending time talking to students, understanding their needs and building rapport with them. Added on, it is important to update parents with their children's progress so that we can work together to make the lessons more enriching and worthwhile.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I have a network of current school teacher friends who share details about the latest programmes and syllabus changes. At the same time, I am teaching in tuition centres and teachers have regular meetings to update each other about the curriculum and sharing of ways to make lessons more interesting.

As a Good Tutor: It is important that students are motivated to learn and thus a good tutor must be one who can encourage students to learn to fish and not just fish for them. Each student has their own learning pace and style, and lessons must be catered to suit their needs.
