Tuition/Teaching Experience
Prior to starting work formally, I was a private tutor teaching both primary and secondary school students for over 3 years.
I took up the CELTA Course last year so that I could teach English. I already have experience teaching English to children and now, I can also teach conversational English to adults. As I have also studied a few foreign languages, I can understand difficulties students face when studying a language they are not strong in. My style is to draw out from them and guide them to discover the answers for themselves.
I have been speaking French for over 30 years, so I am also able to teach French and help students understand this beautiful language.
I am able to start assignments with a week's notice and am able to commit to assignments for the next 1 - 2 years.

I have an avid interest in and have learnt several foreign languages myself, so I can empathise with students facing difficulties in the study of the English language, whether to strengthen English as a first or as a foreign language. I can bring to the table my experiences in the learning of foreign languages and apply this to my students by finding myriad ways and methods to draw out from and help them understand the intricacies of the English language.
