Tuition/Teaching Experience
As a student tutor with relief teaching experience, I am best able to understand teaching and learning from both the tutor's and student's point of view. Hence, I take an integrated approach towards my tutoring, addressing the concerns and motivations of both parties as opposed to merely forcing information down a child's throat.

I have 4 months of relief teaching in the subject of Chinese in a reputable neighborhood school (CCK Area). The stint there exposed me to a vastly different learning habits, thus I am well-equipped to tutor and communicate with various students.

My passion lies with JC Economics. By acing 'A' Level Economics and having quality notes, I will be able to replicate and value add the rigorous training which I have received during my JC Education.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start immediately, and the timing to my convenience is usually weekends as I will be in the university.

I am able to commit for a maximum of one year.

My standard practice for the first lesson is taking time out to understand the student. For example. his/her personality, academic goals, weak areas, likes, dislikes, studying style and so on. This is to allow myself to be able to personalize my tutoring to each individual.

For parents which are actively involved in their child's tutoring process, I will also spend time to understand more about them and their child so that I can get a balanced view of the whole situation. Updates will be provided to them at the end of each lesson so that they are always up to date with their child's latest progress.
