It is important to note that teaching is extremely different from tutoring from my experience. It is an entirely difference environment where the student must feel most comfortable in learning in a 1-1 setting. My 2 years of specialised training in tutoring of 10+ hours/week has definitely enabled me to do this to a much better degree than both teachers and untrained tutors.
